Drawing belly dancers really helped out in the long run with drawing the female figure. Especially the belly. Though I think the belly’s on these are a bit too small.
Ave Maria was a break from the belly dancers. She reminds me of a Spanish flamenco dancer.
Yes, this is a self portrait. With words in the background all descriptive, and all how different people might describe me. The cigarette between the fingers? That wouldn’t describe me at all anymore. smokefree.
